Selain tengah sibuk menyiapkan
ponsel Windows Phone 7
pertamannya, Nokia juga
sedang berupaya keras untuk
memastikan bahwa toko
aplikasinya terintegrasi ke
dalam ekosistem sistem
operasinya.

Melalui Senior Vice Presiden of
Developer and Marketplace-nya,
Marko Argenti, seperti dikutip
PULSAonline via techradar,
dikatakan bahwa Nokia saat ini
tengah berupaya untuk
menghindari terjadirnya
fragmentasi ekosisitem dengan
aplikasi yang tidak kompatibel
dengan ponsel vendor lain.

“Kami akan membuat unsur-
unsur perbedaan, tapi kami tidak
ingin ekosistem terfragmentasi
karena pada akhirnya kita ingin
seluruh platform untuk menang,”
kata Marco Argenti.
Marco Argenti juga
menjelaskan bahwa aplikasi
Nokia juga akan disesuaikan
dengan perangkat keras
terbaiknya, seperti kamera
berkualitas tinggi dan layanan
lokasi.

Nokia
Windows
Phone 7 (WP
7) dipastikan
hadir pada
akhir tahun
2011. Meski
memiliki
sejumlah
pabrik di
seluruh
dunia, Nokia tampaknya
mempercayakan pembuatan
handset WP 7 ke pabrikan luar.
Nokia saat ini memiliki fasilitas
pabrik di 9 negara yaitu
Finlandia, Brazil, China, Inggris,
Hungaria, India, Meksiko,
Rumania, dan Korea Selatan.
Kemudian mereka sedang
membangun proyek pabrik di
Vietnam.
Namun untuk proyek ponsel
Windows, Nokia dikabarkan
mempercayakan pada Compal,
manufaktur asal Taiwan.
Menurut media DigiTimes,
Compal sudah mendapat order
dari Nokia untuk memproduksi
ponsel Windows yang
rencananya keluar kuartal 4
2011.
Nokia sudah pernah bekerja
sama dengan Compal. Mereka
mengerjakan proyek netbook
Booklet 3G Nokia pada tahun
2009.
Lalu mengapa Nokia memilih
mengontrak pihak luar dan
bukannya membuat sendiri?

murah, maka diharapkan ponsel

didedikasikan untuk mengulas perihal
pengisi daya baterai surya (solar
charger).
Situs tersebut beralamat di
SolarCharging.Nokia.com, situs tersebut
berisi informasi seputar charge surya,
aplikasi dan informasi seputar proyek
Nokia dalam mendukung teknologi ramah
lingkungan sertainformasi dari proses
pengembangan teknologi yang berbeda
(mengenai 'Lokki' seperti dalam gambar di
atas).
Ini sebuah situs yang menurut kami menarik
karena kebanyakan dari pengguna sangat
senang untuk bisa memiliki sumberdaya
baterai tanpa listrik dengan
memangandalkan sinar matahari. Dan

Our testers

Swedish forest. Well get an insight into
their efforts from a diverse range of
global locations, too. From above the Arctic
Circle, where the sun doesnt set for the
next three months, to Kenyawhere access
to electricity and charging a mobile phone
can be a daily challenge.
Our technology
Our testers will be using specially created
mobile phones. The small solar charging
panels developed for this project have
been integrated to Nokia C1-02 devices,
while a data logger will report the
harvested solar energy. As the weeks go
past, well blogging in more detail about
how it works, who built it and what it can
do.

Weve got three months, from June 2011
until the end of September 2011, to find out
more than ever before about mobile solar
power. But were also keen to find out more
from you, our readers. We want to hear

want to use GPRS and the service is not

drain faster though.

Nokia
meluncurkan versi terbaru sistem operasi
ponsel Symbian^3 hari ini, bersama dua
ponsel X7 dan E6.
Peluncuran ini sebagai bukti bahwa Nokia
belum sepenuhnya meninggalkan OS
Symbian, meski telah menjalin kerja sama
dengan Microsoft untuk proyek ponsel
Windows 7.
Sistem terbaru ini sebagai langkah
antisipasi dari Nokia untuk mengejar
ketinggalannya dari rival berat Android

Symbian Anna, nama peranti lunak
tersebut, telah dilengkapi dengan

Kedua ponsel ini akan mulai dipasarkan

Espoo - Nokia mungkin menuruti saran analis Berenberg Bank Adnaan Ahmad yang menyarankan sistem operasi (OS) Windows Phone 7 (WP7) Microsoft.

Adnaan menyarankan hal itu untuk menghadapi persaingan ketat iPhone dan Android.

Perusahaan asal Finlandia itu kabarnya akan melakukan perubahan signifikan dalam roadmap software handset mereka, pekan depan.

Rumor beredar menyebutkan Nokia mengumumkan kerjasama dengan platform Android Google.
Namun, surat terbuka Adnaan baru-baru ini membuat publik mulai berspekulasi Nokia lebih memilih WP7.

Menurut analis itu, alih-alih meluncurkan OS MeeGo, Nokia seharusnya menggunakan WP7 untuk menyaingi iPhone dan Android.

Juru bicara Nokia maupun Microsoft menolak berkomentar atas spekulasi tersebut.
